The latest released versions of Kardinia Performance Reporter, major version upgrades, and minor updates can be downloaded from here. Make sure you back up your files before carrying out installations and updates. In particular, back up your conf directories on both client and server, your definition files, and any reports that you need to save.

Version labelling

Report Client and Report Server versions are labelled as m.n(r)  where  m = Major Version number,  n = Minor Version number, and r = Revision number

A general rule is that Report Clients and Report Servers at the same Major and Minor Version level, but at different Revision levels, will usually interoperate, while Report Clients and Report Servers at different Version levels will not necessarily interoperate. However, check the Readme files included with individual Report Client and Report Server versions to find out.

Full Releases

For initial installation of a Report Client or Report Server, download the relevant file from the table here and then, for each Report Server, submit a licence request form. Each download file here includes an installation program or script and a Readme file. Please make sure you read the Readme file. To download the release, click on the file name. The file naming convention is that four digits are used to show major(m) version, minor(n) version and revision(rr) number, respectively, as mnrr. Make certain you backup all your Kardinia files on client and server if you are upgrading.

Major Version Upgrade

To upgrade a licensed and installed copy of Kardinia Performance Reporter to a new major version:

• if you are on a support and upgrade service subscription, submit a license request form(s) for a new license(s)
• if you are not on a support and upgrade service subscription, send email to info@kardinia.com to ask about upgrade fees
• after getting the production license(s), perform the following steps
• back up your files, particularly custom report definitions and configuration files and existing reports
• download the new version Report Client from the table above and install it
• download the appropriate Report Server(s) from the table above and install it(them) with the new license(s).

Report Clients and Report Servers must all be upgraded to the same major version at the same time.

Diagnostic Utility Programs

The diagnostic utilities here are optional add-ons that can be used to analyze the data collected on some management platforms, prior to using Kardinia Performance Reporter to generate reports. They are not essential to the operation of Kardinia Performance Reporter.
